ZT Series Spring-Applied Electromagnetic Brakes
The CDC-ZT series spring-applied electromagnetic brake is a friction structure dry-type electromagnetic brake that brakes when power is off and releases when power is on. This series of brakes provides excellent and durable braking torque and is widely used in forklifts, lifting equipment, logistics and warehousing equipment, brake motors, gear motors, construction, packaging equipment, electric assist vehicles, electric rolling shutters, and various automation equipment.
Main Features
- The CDC-ZT series electromagnetic brake is divided into two categories: -T type (adjustable braking torque through adjustment ring and power transmission post) and regular type (non-adjustable braking torque).
- Achieves good F-grade insulation and withstand voltage, low operating noise, suitable for a wide voltage range (42-460V), and a wide range of braking torque: 3-1350 N·m.
- Uses imported brake pads with good friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, and moisture resistance, meeting ROHS and REACH requirements; products have passed CE certification and type testing by the China Bridge and Gantry Crane Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.
- The CDC-ZT series electromagnetic brake can be optionally equipped with a manual release handle and protective cover for easy installation and maintenance.

Usage Precautions
- The brake is made of soft materials, avoid striking, dropping, or using excessive force during installation.
- Do not pull, excessively bend, or lift the brake by the lead wire, as it may damage the wire.
- Our brakes are dry double-sided friction plate brakes. If the friction surface gets oily or wet, the torque will decrease.
- Voltage fluctuations will affect brake performance; the operating voltage should be within ±10% of the rated voltage.
- The working gap of the brake is adjusted at the factory and should not be tampered with by users.
- The brake must be disengaged when the motor is running; forced dragging will damage the brake.
- The shaft sleeve can be fixed with screws or keys, or by interference fit, but interference fit is only suitable for internal installation brakes.
- Installation screws should be secured with thread-specific adhesive, avoiding contact with the rotor surface.
- Ensure a certain distance "X" between the shaft sleeve and the brake armature during installation, recommended at 0.2 ~ 0.5mm, per product drawings.
